On Saturday, 16 August 2025, from 1pm to 6pm, Space Station Sixty-Five buzzed with life as we hosted the second annual London Dyke Market—a radiant, one-day celebration of queer creativity within our space. Curated by Emily Witham and held across both Space Station Sixty-Five and the neighbouring Kennington Film Studios, the event blossomed into something bigger and more vibrant than ever.

This year, we were deeply honoured to welcome 2,300 visitors—an uplifting increase from last year’s 1,895—all gathering in solidarity and excitement to immerse themselves in the creativity and passion on offer.

The queue, winding quietly and joyfully, was one of those rare moments where waiting felt warm rather than weary—people lingered, chatted, helped one another, and forged spontaneous connections outside the gate. It felt like a place for shared anticipation and belonging.

Inside, the market featured: 55 stall holders who offered their handmade works, from artists and writers to chefs and poets. Whereas last year, it was 25 stall holders—a sign of growing community momentum and shared purpose.

The day featured a diverse spectrum of creators—fashion designers, ceramicists, photographers, activists, poets, chefs, jewellers, baristas, tattooists, archivists, and many more—crafting a vibrant, inclusive marketplace that was as much about connection as it was about creativity

Whether you came for the art, the atmosphere, or the chance to support community-led work, your presence helped make something powerful: a space rooted in mutual care and creative joy—far from corporate sponsorship or hollow gestures.

We’re grateful to have witnessed such energy, connection, and joy within our walls!
